Educated at Harvard Business School HBX and Deakin University Melbourne, Ben comes from a management accounting background in private equity specializing in investment, mergers and acquisitions and divestment for heavy industry. Ben is deeply interested in the profound effects which disruptive technologies continue to have upon social and economic problems around the world, and has chosen to focus his efforts toward commercializing technologies which further advance the safety, security and independence of people and organisations.
Dip is an electronics and computer engineer with 12+ years of success in developing and commercializing emerging technologies with Fortune Global 500 companies, universities and research institutes. He is a subject matter expert in distributed computing, has published 2 international patent applications and 15 peer-reviewed research articles in this field. He has been an IEEE Senior Member since 2009, is a member of the IEEE Blockchain Community and a contributor to several IEEE standards. Dip holds an M.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, USA, a MBA degree from The University of Melbourne, Australia and is currently securing registration as a Patent and Trademark Attorney in Australia and New Zealand following completion of an MIPLaw degree from The University of Melbourne Law School.
